Anthony Martucci : My name is Anthony Martucci. I’m a sales representative from Westborough, Massachusetts. I went to Bryant University, where I studied marketing and communications. And I graduated there last year in 2018.
So I was an intern here before I started full-time. And that’s really what kind of made me fall in love with the position. I remember I knew I wanted to do sales. I was like, do I really want to be an insurance agent? And then I kind of got into the job. I saw how flexible it was with your work schedule, how you can work from home. I can’t be cooped up in an office all day. That’s just not me. I saw the money you can make. And I saw how happy these people were that were doing the job. And I was like, you know what? I think this is for me.
I can’t say there’s a typical day, because one day you’re out of the office meeting a bunch of people. The other day you might be in the office. The only typical thing you’re doing every day is just prospecting and meeting new people and trying to get that next sale. That’s what it’s all about.
You get rewarded for the hard work you put in. And it’s as simple as looking at the numbers at the end of the week, how much did you sell. You’re always going get noticed, because the numbers tell the story.
The difference between this sales team and other sales teams that I’ve seen is the support you get from your managers, from co-workers, I mean, constant day to day mentoring and advice. They assign you a mentor. I’ve had a mentor that’s been here for about seven years. And he’s giving me tips and tricks to the trade. And he’s always constantly there for me.
I think this company is different than any other because I think it gives you the opportunity to grow, which is one thing that I loved is that they are always looking to promote from the inside. I’m really excited to see where I’ll be 10 years from now. And I really think I’ll still be within this company. What I’ll be doing, I don’t know. But I’m just excited for that.
