AJ has over 20 years of experience in both data analytics and financial management. In her current role, she is responsible for the development and execution of strategic global priorities within the Cloud FinOps and Tech Data Insight spaces, with a focus on leveraging data to improve the developer experience and to optimize technology investments. AJ’s Discovery Product was instrumental in rolling out DORA metrics at scale at Liberty Mutual and her teams continue to provide critical data to drive meaningful outcomes and quantifiable benefits.

Scott is fueled by seeing teams and organizations improve how they operate – delivering value to customers faster while having fun along the way. As a member of the cross-industry Agile community for over 15 years, Scott has been focused on improving organizational agility and building engaged, innovative cultures while learning from others around the world. During that time has spoken at about a dozen conferences about Agile and improved technology practices. His efforts are focused on building deep customer empathy to proactively provide solutions to help them.
In addition to Scott’s day-to-day role, he is a member of the Able@Liberty Employee Resource Group – a group focused on promoting an inclusive and equitable culture that fosters awareness, understanding and support for people with disabilities, caregivers and their family members, so people of all abilities can thrive.

Dave has architected and delivered multiple enterprise scale technology initiatives at Liberty Mutual and believes that the best way to solve complex problems are with simple solutions. He has a passion for delivering business value through APIs that can be reused and extended on a global scale. Dave is committed to empowering the engineering community through servant leadership and is obsessed with the continuous pursuit of engineering excellence.
Outside of work, you will find Dave spending time with his family, learning techniques to improve his green thumb, or on the soccer field coaching his daughters.

Justin has been designing and building software products for over 20 years –from compiler development to UI and mobile applications and many things in between. In the recent years, his focus has been on Cloud Native development, building solutions using containers, Kubernetes, and various cloud provider resources. Justin’s current focus is on enterprise scale cybersecurity solutions following a Zero Trust strategy. He strongly believes that how something is built is as important as what is built – system quality and evolution are critical to the long-term success of any software product.
Justin is a proud member of the Able@Liberty and WE@Liberty Employee Resource Groups – Able is a group focused on promoting an inclusive and equitable culture that fosters awareness, understanding and support for people with disabilities, caregivers and their family members, so people of all abilities can thrive. Jenna started at Liberty Mutual in 2007 as a member of the Technical Development Program. Since then, she’s worked in a number of different roles across the company, most recently as a Senior Scrum Master in Liberty’s Retail Markets Distribution Technology organization. In her role, she collaborates across 50 squads in the pursuit of delivering the highest quality solutions using best-in-class practices and tools, with a focus on data-driven, continuous improvement. Outside of work, Jenna is likely refereeing spontaneous wrestling matches among her 3 sons or trying to take a nap.

Gabriel is an engineering manager who developed & delivered multiple web development solutions across Liberty Mutual’s auto and home platforms as well as a year as a Solutions Engineer. He loves geeking out on cloud technology, any type of technical modernization effort, continuous learning, & tech innovation projects. Gabriel believes DORA is a great way for teams to become more data-driven in their decision making and level up their retros.
Gabriel proudly represents his both Mexican & English heritage and believes story sharing is just one key to celebrating diversity. He is passionate about raising awareness of the importance of diversity, equity, & inclusion. Gabriel is especially focused on allying with women in technology and volunteering with Liberty Mutual’s Campus Recruiting to inspire & hire the next generation of diverse technologists.
When Gabriel is away from work, he is most likely exploring the coasts across New England or playing table tennis in VR.

Matt is focused on creating the right environment for empowered teams to rapidly deliver business value in a well-architected, sustainable and serverless-first way.
He has been creating this environment by building CDK Patterns. This is an open source collection of serverless architecture patterns built using AWS CDK that reference the AWS Well Architected Framework. Not only has Matt been sharing open source code but he also created CDK Day which was the first community driven, global conference focused on everything CDK (AWS CDK, CDK for Terraform, CDK for Kubernetes and others). Over a thousand people tuned in for the first event which was pulled together in just three months.
In his remaining spare time you may catch him speaking at AWS conferences about CDK and Serverless.

Marcia is a Developer Advocate for AWS and the host of FooBar a youtube channel (http://bit.ly/foobar-youtube) where she publishes content every week, related to serverless and the cloud.
She has been designing and developing software professionally for 15 years and worked in all the different stages of building scaling and performant software. She has deep knowledge of building applications in the cloud and using DevOps processes.
