You’ll have access to several health and wellness programs, as well as generous time off through holidays, flex time, and a host of other paid and unpaid leaves of absence.

We help you prepare for the future by offering two ways for you to save for your retirement. Our pension plan provides a monthly credit equal to 5% of your eligible compensation. You can also participate in our 401(k) plan, which offers a guaranteed match of $0.50 for every $1 you contribute, up to 8% of your eligible pay.

Giving back
At Liberty Mutual, philanthropy is not just something we do — it’s who we are. Through our philanthropic efforts, we look to support best-in-class organizations that are changing the lives of some of our most vulnerable neighbors with focus on: - Empowering individuals experiencing homelessness - Advancing access for people with disabilities - Expanding educational opportunities for underserved students We also believe in supporting and celebrating our employees who help make lives better with their inspiring work for the causes they care about through our community service platform, Liberty Torchbearers. The impact they make beyond our walls is as important as the work they do within them. The generosity of our employees, who enthusiastically donate their time and money through the program’s three main efforts—Serve with Liberty, Give with Liberty and Volunteer with Liberty—inspires all of us. Key 2020 Highlights Serve with Liberty Liberty Mutual has long-term relationships with many of our community partners in the Serve with Liberty day-of-service annual program. These partners count on us, and we wanted to continue to support them. In lieu of on-site service events, we made emergency mini-grants of $1,000 to all 750+ community partners in the program. Give with Liberty In addition to our ongoing program of a 50% company match for all eligible donations — with no upper limit — we offered targeted match campaigns for colleagues to support specific causes. Through these campaigns, employees were able to: donate to disaster relief for the Australian and US west coast wildfires; contribute to COVID relief efforts; and support Liberty Mutual’s philanthropic areas of emphasis, such as youth homelessness and racial justice. The Racial Justice and Equity campaign was our biggest ever, raising more than $1 million for social justice organizations.

Volunteer with Liberty With fewer opportunities for in-person volunteering due to COVID restrictions, these programs helped employees give with a personal touch from home.
