Corporate Strategy & Research

Corporate Strategy & Research (CS&R) is the internal management consulting group for Liberty. Our team works with the CEO and senior executives to solve complex and pressing business problems, guide thinking about the future of the entire enterprise and execute cross-unit strategic priorities.

Corporate Strategy & Research:

- Focuses on strategy development, growth strategy, organizational design & operating model, innovation and business transformation
- Develops future company leaders in an environment that fosters curiosity, development and fulfillment
- Is comprised of team members from some of the very best academic institutions and external consulting firms

Solaria Labs

Solaria Labs brings together talent and capabilities from across Liberty Mutual to incubate new innovative ideas, rapidly test concepts in market, and accelerate the delivery of critical insights and capabilities to the business.

Solaria Labs:

Takes an entrepreneurial approach to prototyping and launching disruptive new products in partnership with teams from across Liberty
Helps Liberty stay on the forefront of disruption, with experimentation in areas including digital ubiquity, sustainability, new transportation models, value chain disruption and risk services
Continuously learning and employing emerging techniques (e.g. computer vision, natural language processing) to transform our business and do more for our customers

Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures

As the strategic venture capital arm of Liberty Mutual, LMSV invests in early-stage insurtech, fintech and enterprise software companies shaping the future of insurance.

Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures:

Focuses on investments in Mobility, PropTech, FinTech/InsurTech and SMB/Enterprise ventures
Supports companies that will empower Liberty Mutual policyholders, agents, brokers and employees
Invests in seed through Series B rounds with a $750K to $5M initial investment
