Real experience. Real projects. Real impact.
"My journey at Liberty started in Boston, Massachusetts as an Actuarial summer intern. The experience was so enjoyable that I decided to intern for a second summer in the Seattle office before joining the Actuarial Development Program full-time. My rotation on the Data Science team has only reinforced my decision by helping me grow analytically and professionally."
“The Analyst Development Program has given me the technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills that I need to have a successful career, all while allowing me to develop meaningful relationships with my program peers and rotation teams.”
“I initially accepted a job in Claims to understand what it meant to assist someone in need. We are the voices that people hear when their lives have changed. I find comfort in knowing that I could be in a position to help someone get their life back on track.”
“In my time as an F&P my first role was an FP&A, where I was in planning and reporting. Now I’m in a systems finance role. And my next rotation is going to be in financial accounting. So, totally different areas of finance, and I’m getting exposure to all of that within two years.”
“My three rotations in the Human Resources Development Program have given me the skills and confidence I need to excel in this field. This program has also provided me with relationships I didn’t think I would find in a workplace.”
"Risk Control allowed me to see many unique industries and develop an eye for “risk” no matter the environment. I work closely with many skilled and knowledgeable individuals, and my manager and team consistently push me to become the best consultant I can be."
I’ve been fortunate to have rotated through many technology positions at Liberty Mutual – from Software Engineer, Technical Analyst, Project Manager and most recently, Senior Scrum Master. My current department is at the forefront of looking at how new technologies can transform the insurance industry.
I knew Liberty Mutual was the right choice for me due to its values regarding diversity & inclusion, continuing education, and giving back to the community. After graduation, I completed the Underwriting Training Program where I developed my analytical and interpersonal skills. Now, I am growing within my position, and I feel very proud to work for a company that focuses so heavily on personal development.
